NAMI Walks 2021

Walk in Boise on Sat, Oct 2, 2021 or share your interests with NAMI UV

Last year, we saw the light at the end of the tunnel -- which grew closer through the first half of 2021 – and we kept on walking toward it, often virtually. Let’s keep the momentum going this fall as we unite across the country to celebrate Mental Health for All.    Visit our Walks page at: https://www.namiwalks.org/participant/NAMIUpperValley-Idaho

On the day of the event, NAMIWalks participants, mental health advocates, and NAMI partners will step up our strength and energy even further. There are thousands of ways to reach a goal — and every one is yours. Together with you, NAMIWalks remains one of the top mental health walk series in the country.

Mental Health for All — and Always. We have been encouraged through the last 18 months to discover our participants’ remarkable resilience. Whatever regulations are in place for event day, our NAMIWalks community consistently finds a way to reach their goal. Nothing could mask their enthusiasm.

Even if you’re isolated geographically, we’ll be united in our hearts. On October 2, you can walk the walk with us beginning at noon at Veteran's Memorial Park in Boise, or participate in inspirational, engaging livestreams with other like-minded crusaders.

Send us your pictures or short video (approx 1 minute)

Help us display the Creations, interests and talents of people with mental illness in the East Idaho area.

If you or a loved one like to draw or paint, sing or act, do wood-working or make jewelry, dance, walk or have fun then we want you to send us pictures or a video of your creation.

Include some information about your work - as much or as little as you are comfortable with:

  • a name (or tell us if you prefer to remain anonymous)

  • the city you live in

  • a title for your creation

  • a short explanation about it.
